BMC Remedy is an enterprise IT service management (ITSM) platform developed by Remedy, a BMC Software Company. Built on the Remedy Action Request System (AR System), it streamlines ITIL-aligned processes including incident, problem, change, release, and asset management. The suite offers a configurable service desk, a self-service portal, a knowledge base, an integrated CMDB, service level management, automated workflows and approvals, notifications and escalations, and robust reporting and analytics.

Designed for extensibility, BMC Remedy supports custom forms, business rules, and integrations through APIs and connectors, allowing organizations to tailor processes and connect with monitoring, identity, and collaboration tools. It is available for on-premises deployment and, in later generations, as part of BMC’s cloud-based Helix ITSM offering, helping enterprises improve service quality, reduce resolution times, and maintain compliance.
